Installazione del software del CD Supplement su un sistema standalone con pkgadd

Per installare i package per i prodotti supportati dal CD Supplement con pkgadd, procedere in questo modo:

  1. Inserire il CD Supplement nel lettore di CD-ROM.

    Verrà aperta la finestra della Gestione di file.

  2. In una shell, diventare superutente con il comando su e la password di superutente.

  3. Digitare:


    # /usr/sbin/pkgadd -d /cdrom/cdrom0/directory/Product nomi_dei_package

    oppure:


    # cd /cdrom/cdrom0/directory/Product

# pkdadd -d . nomi_dei_package

    in cui directory corrisponde alla directory del prodotto software come da Tabella 3-2 e nomi_dei_package sono i nomi dei package indicati nella Tabella 3-2.

    L'argomento dell'opzione-d deve essere il percorso completo di un dispositivo o di una directory. Se non viene specificato il dispositivo su cui risiede il package, pkgadd lo cerca nella directory di spool predefinita (/var/spool/pkg). Se il package non si trova in questa posizione, l'installazione non viene eseguita.

    Per installare un prodotto specifico, scegliere i package appropriati:
