Get Scope


Use pthread_attr_getscope(3THR) to retrieve the thread scope, which indicates whether the thread is bound or unbound.

/* get scope of thread */
ret = pthread_attr_getscope(&tattr, &scope);

Return Values

pthread_attr_getscope() returns zero after completing successfully. Any other returned value indicates that an error occurred. If the following condition occurs, the function fails and returns the corresponding value.


The value of scope is NULL or tattr is invalid.
