Preconfiguration Information

Ensure that the Compaq 825 EISA controller is properly installed in one of the EISA slots or that the Compaq 825, 875, or 876 PCI controller is in one of the PCI slots in the server.

EISA systems only: Configure the system using the Compaq EISA configuration utility (at least ECU version 2.34) so the system recognizes the Compaq 825, 875, or 876 controllers.
