reset() Method

The reset() method initializes the storage space of the OTD as follows:

• alphanumeric fields (PIC X) - blank spaces (EBCDIC value 0x40)

• numeric fields (PIC 9) - binary zero

• packed decimal fields - signed-trailing packed binary zero
