The Sun Java™ System Application Server

The Sun Java System Application Server is Sun’s platform for developing and delivering Java web services. The application server comes in three editions: the free Platform edition which is embedded in many third party systems and applications, Standard edition which adds operations management and monitoring, and Enterprise edition which also adds Sun’s Always On technology, and provides enhanced load balancing and cluster management capabilities.
