JDK and JAVA_HOME

The Java Development Kit (JDK) must be installed and the JAVA_HOME environment variable must be set on the computer on which you install Java CAPS prior to beginning the installation. This is required to perform the installation and for Java CAPS utilities, such as Enterprise Manager Command-Line Client and code generation, to function correctly.
