Chapter 1 Overview

The Sun JavaTM System Application Server Enterprise Edition 8.2 product greatly simplifies the task of creating and administering J2EE applications and web services. It provides superior performance, clustering, and high availability features for scalable services that continue to operate despite software and hardware faults.
