Web Server Postinstallation Configuration

After a Configure Now installation, no additional configuration is needed unless you are using Sun Cluster or a 64–bit configuration.

• For Sun Cluster inclusion. If this product component will be included in a Sun Cluster configuration, proceed to Sun Cluster Postinstallation Configuration and Sun Cluster Data Services Configuration.

• For 64–Bit support . If you are enabling 64–bit JVM support for Web Server, refer to Enabling 64–bit Support in Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 Installation and Migration Guide.

To Configure Web Server After a Configure Later Installation

After a Configure Later installation, the packages are installed and you are ready to configure Web Server using the following procedure.

1. Create a runtime configuration for Web Server.

   Run the Web Server configurator following instructions in the Configure Later Mode (Java ES Only) in Sun Java System Web Server 7.0 Installation and Migration Guide.

2. Verify the common server settings and update settings as needed.

   Refer to the tables in Web Server Configuration Information in Sun Java Enterprise System 5 Installation Reference for UNIX.
