After upgrading Java ESTM version 4 Web Proxy Server to Java ES 5 Web Proxy Server , if the user tries to stop the Web Proxy Server instance using the stopsvr.bat command, the following error message is displayed:
The Sun Java System Web Proxy Server 4.0.1 (proxy-server1) service is stopping.. A system error has occurred. System error 1067 has occurred. The process terminated unexpectedly. The Sun Java System Web Proxy Server 4.0.1 (proxy-server1) service was stopped successfully. |
Workaround: None.
After upgrading Java ES 4 Web Proxy Server to Java ES 5 Web Proxy Server, the version information for Web Proxy Server services is not updated in the Services panel. However, the Admin Console and version screen shows the upgraded version.
Workaround: None.
After installing Web Proxy Server 4.0.4, Web Proxy Server services are not getting started automatically.
Use any one of the following workarounds:
Restart the machine after installing Web Proxy Server 4.0.4 to start proxy services.
Restart Web Proxy Server services without restarting the machine using the following steps:
Select ControlPanel -> Administrative -> Tools -> Services to open the ServiceControl Manager.
Select one of the following service:
Sun Java System Socks Server 4.0.4
Sun Java System Web Proxy Server 4.0.4
Sun Java System Web Proxy Server 4.0.4 Administration Server
Press mouse button 3 and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
Click the Log On property tab.
Change the value of the property from LocalSystem to the current logon user.
Type the user name and password for the current user.
Click Apply.
Click OK.
Repeat steps 2-7 to start all Web Proxy Sever services.
