ADO Recordset Object State Property

Describes the current state of an object.

State Property Return Values (ADO Recordset Object)

Sets or returns a Long value that can be one of the following constants:

Constant
Description
AdStateClosed
Default. The object is closed.
AdStateOpen
The object is open.

State Property Remarks (ADO Recordset Object)

You can use the State property to determine the current state of a given object at any time.
