To uninstall the Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1 agent, use the agentadmin program with the --uninstall option. This chapter includes:

Undeploy any protected applications from Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1.
Refer to the Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1 documentation for more information.
Restore the deployment descriptors of these applications to their original deployment descriptors.
Before you uninstall the agent for Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1, ensure that the following servers are shut down:
Domain Administration Server (DAS)
Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1 instance protected by the agent
(Conditional) If you are permanently removing the agent for Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1, undeploy the agent application.
If you are permanently removing this agent, you must first undeploy the agent application from Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1 before the agent is uninstalled. If you plan to re-install this agent , you are not required to undeploy the agent application.
The agent application was installed during the post-installation steps. For more information about the installation of this application see Chapter 3, Installing the Policy Agent for Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1.
Change to the following directory:
PolicyAgent-base/bin
This directory contains the agentadmin program, which is used for uninstalling a J2EE agent and for performing other tasks. For more information on the agentadmin program, see Key Features and Tasks Performed With the J2EE agentadmin Program.
Issue one of the following commands:
./agentadmin --uninstall |
or
./agentadmin --uninstallAll |
The --uninstall removes only one instance of the agent, while the --uninstallAll option removes all configured instances of the agent.

Application Server Config directory path
Default: /var/opt/SUNWappserver/domains/domain1/config
Application Server instance name
Enter the appropriate values or accept the default values.
The uninstall program displays your choices and then asks if you want to continue:
