Installation Overview

The general process for installing GlassFish Portfolio components is for the most part the same as that for installing Java ES Base components. In particular, the suggested installation sequence is relevant to GlassFish Portfolio. It recommended that you review the information in Suggested Sequence for Installing Java ES 7 in Sun Java Enterprise System 7 Installation and Upgrade Guide before installing GlassFish Portfolio components.

In addition, you may want to refer to the following documents for Web Stack 1.5 and Sun GlassFish Enterprise Service Bus 2.1, which are not covered in the Java ES 7 Base documentation:
