Installing Sun Java System Portal Server 7 Software

To install the Portal Server software on existing stack components, note that you must upgrade the stack components to Sun Java Enterprise Systems 4 release of the components before installing the Portal Server software. See the Sun Java Enterprise System 2005Q4 Installation Reference for information on upgrading the stack components.
