Using Power Management

The Using Power Management book describes use of Power Management^TM software features on desktop machines. These features allow the machine to shut down or reduce power consumption when it has been idle, according to conditions you set with this software. This book covers use of the GUI (run by the dtpower command) and command line operations, and activation of Suspend-Resume features through the keyboard.
