运行 Solaris Web Start 实用程序

可以使用"Solaris Web Start"实用程序在一个新的系统或以前已安装的系统上安装 Solaris 软件。您不能用 Solaris Web Start 实用程序从一个早期版本的 Solaris 软件来对系统进行升级。

在以前的安装上安装 Solaris 即抹去以前存储在系统磁盘上的所有软件和数据。根据系统盘的大小和您选择要安装的软件，Solaris Web Start 实用程序也可能抹去其它磁盘上存在的数据。

1. 将 Solaris CD 盘插入系统的 CD-ROM 驱动器中。

2. 将"Solaris 设备配置助理"软盘插入系统的引导软盘驱动器中（通常是 A: 驱动器)。

3. 如果系统处于关机状态，则将其打开。如果系统处于运行状态，则重新引导系统。

   "设备配置助理"程序运行以识别系统的设备。

4. 从系统的 CD-ROM 驱动器（CD）或从网络（NET）上的安装服务器进行引导。

   如果选择从网络上的安装服务器引导，则必须设置好安装服务器。参见"关于和安装服务器一起使用 Solaris Web Start "可以获得详细信息。

5. 选择 Solaris Web Start。

   Select the type of installation you want to perform: 1 Solaris Interactive 2 Custom JumpStart 3 Solaris Web Start Enter the number of your choice followed by the ENTER key. If you enter anything else, or if you wait for 30 seconds, an interactive installation will be started.

6. 执行计算机屏幕上的说明。
