These release notes describe late-breaking information or changes to the SunVTS 6.4 Patch Set 6 release.
The PS6 software is designed for the Solaris 10 08/07 Operating System (OS) and is compatible with all previous Solaris 10 releases.
Executing Ramtest on a system that is booted from a network-mounted disk might result in a resource crunch. This can cause the test to exit with a bus error or a segmentation violation. [6819323]
Use the same tool or utility for installation and removal of the SunVTS software. If you use pkgadd for installation, use pkgrm to uninstall; if you use Web Start for installation, use the Product Registry to uninstall.
The SUNWcakrnt2000 package should only be installed on a Netra T2000 system. If you installed this package on any other systems, you should remove it. [6490977]
Workaround: Remove this package from all other systems with this command:
SunVTS 6.4 Patch Set 4 supports all Sun manufactured x86/x64 systems. Non-Sun systems are not supported. If you run SunVTS on an unsupported platform, a warning message appears and SunVTS stops.
