First, determine whether your network is shared or private. If private, configure your Sun Ray servers with utadm -a. If shared, does your network have a separate DHCP server? If not, then configure your Sun Ray servers with utadm -A. If so, then decide whether to use a Sun Ray server for DHCP vendor options. If so, then configure your Sun Ray servers using utadm -A. If not, then configure your Sun Ray servers for a private network using utadm -L. If there is no router, you're done. If there are any routers in your configuration, configure bootp forwarding in each of them.
