ProcedureTo Run the Uninstaller in Silent Mode

Steps

  1. Verify that you have properly prepared and edited the state file for the host where you want to uninstall Java ES components.

  2. Open a terminal window.

  3. If you are not logged in as root, become superuser.

  4. Navigate to the uninstaller directory:

    • Solaris OS: /var/sadm/prod/SUNWentsys4

    • Linux: /var/sadm/prod/sun-entsys4

  5. Start the uninstaller. For example:


    ./uninstall -noconsole -state statefile_path
