By default, the OS Provisioning server validates the target hosts before deploying an OS to the target host. To disable target validation, edit the /opt/SUNWn1osp/etc/n1osp-service.properties file on the OS Provisioning server to include one or more of the following entries.
com.sun.n1.isp.osservice.validate.Target.skipValidation=true
Skipstarget host validation. The default value for this property is false.
com.sun.n1.isp.osservice.validate.Target.skipNMValidation=true
Skips Network Management validation for all Service Controllers or network management controllers of the target host. The default value for this property is false.
com.sun.n1.isp.osservice.validate.Target.skipNMValidation.hostname=true
Skips Network Management validation for all Service Controllers or network management controllers of a specific target instance (hostname). The default value for this property is false.
com.sun.n1.isp.osservice.validate.Target.skipNM-ICMP-Validation=true

com.sun.n1.isp.osservice.validate.Target.skipNM-ICMP-Validation.hostname=true

You cannot override the default validation scheme of the built-in network management types, for example, alom, lom, rsc, or ilo.
