Oracle Users and Groups

The OraSpt component creates one OS user and two OS groups:

• User: oracle

• Group: oinstall

• Group: dba

If a group exists in NIS or LDAP, the support scripts append “n1” to the group name. Thus, if a group dba exists, the plug-in creates a user n1dba.
