Installation Issues

There are no known installation issues.

Runtime Issues

Component Installation Paths Must Be Unique (6349681)

If you do not change the installPath component variable for each installation, only the most recently installed component is available to be uninstalled. This issue applies to the following components:

• Components created by using the Patch component type

• Components created by using the Package component type

• Components created by using the Datastream Package component type

Workaround: Provide a unique installPath component variable for each component.

Solaris Plug-In Cannot Remove Container Component If Zone Is Removed Manually

If a zone that was created by installing a Solaris component from the Solaris plug-in is manually deleted, the SPS component cannot be uninstalled in SPS.

The following error messages are displayed:

Problems encountered during plan run or preflight

The plan (or preflight) "/system/autogen/Container-unst-markOnly-1141844440690" finished with 1 failed 
host(s). (017034)

The targetable component host cannot be uninstalled as it contains one or more installed components. 
(603013)

Workaround: Manually recreate the Solaris Zone on the Remote Agent.
