How to Start the NFS Services

1. Become superuser or assume an equivalent role.

   For information about roles, see "Using Privileged Applications" in System Administration Guide: Security Services.

2. Enable the NFS service daemons.

   Type the following command:

   # /etc/init.d/nfs.server start

   This command starts the daemons if an entry is in /etc/dfs/dfstab.
