Preface

The Solaris 9 9/02 (SPARC Platform Edition) Release Notes contains installation problem details and other information that was not available until immediately before the release of the SolarisTM 9 9/02 operating environment.

The information in this document pertains to the SPARCTM platform. This information also pertains to both the 64-bit and 32-bit address spaces unless specified in a special chapter, section, note, bulleted item, figure, table, example, or code example.

These notes are for users and system administrators who install and use the Solaris 9 9/02 operating environment.
