使用需要较少 CPU 资源的主题

某些窗口框架主题通过加载图像文件来绘制窗口框架。另一些主题使用较为简单的技术来绘制窗口框架。

默认主题是 Crux。Crux 加载图像文件，在 CPU 资源有限的系统上可能会比较慢。要减少 CPU 使用，请使用下列窗口框架主题之一：

• Atlanta

• Esco

下列窗口框架主题使用的 CPU 资源也少于 Crux：

• AgingGorilla

• Bright

• Metabox

Metabox 不宜与反转桌面主题（如 HighContrastInverse）共同使用。Use Atlanta with inverse desktop themes.

要更改窗口框架主题，请运行以下命令：

# gconftool-2 --type string --set /apps/metacity/general/theme theme-name

例如，要使用 Atlanta，请运行以下命令：

# gconftool-2 --type string --set /apps/metacity/general/theme Atlanta

此外，用户还可以选择应用程序 -> 桌面首选项 -> 主题，然后选择相应的主题。

您可以使用 Metacity Theme Viewer 来测定窗口框架主题的性能，并预览该主题。要启动 Metacity Theme Viewer，请使用以下命令：

# metacity-theme-viewer theme-name

例如，要测定 Atlanta 的性能并预览 Atlanta，请运行以下命令：

# metacity-theme-viewer Atlanta
