Enable the NFS service daemons.
# /etc/init.d/nfs.server start |
This command starts the daemons if an entry is in /etc/dfs/dfstab.
Become superuser or assume an equivalent role.

Disable the NFS service daemons.
# /etc/init.d/nfs.server stop |
