Solaris 9 12/03 Updates

Documentation covering the new tool for migrating NIS naming services to LDAP naming services has been included in Chapter 19, Transitioning From NIS to LDAP (Overview/Tasks). The NIS to LDAP transition service can be used to transition a network from using NIS to using LDAP as the primary naming service. In doing so, administrators can take advantage of the bundled Sun ONE Directory Server, which works with LDAP naming service clients.
