• libc 中新的 GNU 兼容函数可以处理 GNU 兼容的消息文件。新的函数包括以下函数：

  • ngettext()

  • dngettext()

  • dcngettext()

  • bind_textdomain_codeset()

• msgfmt 和 gettext 公用程序现在可以处理 Solaris 消息文件及 GNU 兼容的消息文件。
