À la fin de la rubrique “The Switch File and Password Information”, le texte suivant doit être ajouté :
Avoid maintaining multiple repositories for the same user. By maintaining centralized password management in a single repository for each user, you reduce the possibilities of confusion and error. Si vous choisissez de conserver plusieurs référentiels par utilisateur, mettez à jour les informations de mot de passe à l'aide de la commande passwd -r.

Si aucun référentiel n'est spécifié avec l'option -r, passwd met à jour la liste des référentiels dans nsswitch.conf en ordre inverse.
Dans la rubrique “LDAP Naming Services Setup and Administration”, les références à l'utilisation des options de la commande ldapclient sont incorrectes. Pour toutes les versions de Solaris 9, la syntaxe de la commande doit être modifiée de la manière suivante :
