6.4 Running the GNOME Desktop on a Sun Ray Server

Problem 

How do I run the GNOME 2.0 Desktop on a Sun Ray thin client server? 

Solution 

Perform the following steps:

1. Install the GNOME Desktop in the normal way.

2. If the GNOME 2.0 option does not appear on the login screen of the Sun Ray client, choose Options -> Reset Login Screen.
