Sun Java System Web Server 6.1 allows you to enable or disable a web application. You can do so in either of the following ways, as discussed in this section:
Access the Administration Server, select the server instance, and click Manage.
Click the Virtual Server Class tab.
Select the virtual server class that contains the virtual server instance in which the web application is deployed, and click Manage.
Select the virtual server in which the web application is deployed, and click Manage.
Click the Web Applications tab, and then click the Edit Web Applications link.
From the Action drop-down list, select Enable or Disable to enable or disable a specific web application.
Click OK.
By default, an application is automatically enabled with the value set to true in the server-id/config/server.xml file. You can disable the application by setting the value to false.
