Sun Java System Web Server 6.1 SP11 Administrator's Guide

Editing the magnus.conf File

When the Sun Java System Web Server starts, it scans the magnus.conf file in the server_root/server_id/config directory to establish a set of global variable settings that define the server’s behavior and configuration. Sun Java System Web Server executes all the directives defined in magnus.conf. You can edit certain settings in the magnus.conf file using the Magus Editor in the Server Manager.

For a complete description of the magnus.conf file and information about editing the file using a text editor, see the Sun Java System Web Server 6.1 SP11 Administrator’s Configuration File Reference and the Sun Java System Web Server 6.1 SP11 NSAPI Programmer’s Guide.

ProcedureTo access the Magnus Editor
