Cannot Reinstall Enterprise Server After Manual Deletion of Directories


If the Enterprise Server directories are deleted manually rather than by means of the included uninstall the program, subsequent attempts to reinstall the Enterprise Server in the same directory fail. This is because the installation directory information stored in /tmp/productregistry file remains even though the program directories have been removed.

Remove Enterprise Server directory information from the <location\> property entries in the /tmp/productregistry file; for example, change:
