Web Server Features

Application Server 8.1 replaces the Web server shipped with Application Server 7 with a . As a result, the following web server-specific features are no longer supported in version 8.1:

• cgi-bin, shtml

• SNMP support

• NSAPI plugin APIs

• Native content handling features

• Web server tools (flexanlg, htpasswd)

• HTTP QoS

• Web server configuration files (*.conf, *.acl, mime.types)

• Web server-specific log rotation facility

• Watch dog process (appserv-wdog)
