What You Are Installing

There are two different distribution types:

The Application Server product distribution includes the following components:

• Application Server software, including administrative tools and utilities

• Sun Java System Message Queue

• PointBase Database Server

The Java^TM 2 Platform^TM, Enterprise Edition (J2EE^TM) 1.4 product distribution includes the following components:

• All components contained in the Application Server product distribution

• Java^TM 2 Platform Edition (J2SE^TM) Software Development Kit (SDK)

• J2EE^TM SDK samples, which includes BluePrints applications, such as Petstore, Adventure Builder, and SmartTicket

Use these instructions to install either distribution.
