No Network Interface Card

If your license server does not have a network interface card, you must configure the operating system on your license server appropriately. To configure a machine to not have a network interface card, follow these steps:

1. Become a superuser (root) by typing:

   % su

   Password: root-password

2. Type the following:

   # sys-unconfig

   Your machine will reboot automatically, or you will be prompted to reboot.

3. Answer the questions as prompted.

   Type no when you are asked whether the system is to be networked.
