Postinstallation Tasks
In most configurations, you do not want the machine that you are using as the i-Planet gateway to function as an Internet router. To prevent this, you should turn off Solaris operating system routing. To do so, create an empty /etc/notrouter file if it does not already exist. This file is checked at boot time, and if it exists, the machine does not act as a router.
