D.7.2 How to Reconfigure smond to Monitor a Different Cluster

You can reconfigure the smond daemon to monitor a different cluster.

  1. Stop the snmpd daemon by using:

    # /opt/SUNWcluster/bin/init.snmpd stop
    
  2. Reconfigure the smond daemon by using:

    # /opt/SUNWcluster/bin/smond_conf -h [clustername ...]
  3. Start the snmpd daemon by using:

    # /opt/SUNWcluster/bin/init.snmpd start
    
  4. Start the smond daemon by using:

    # /opt/SUNWcluster/bin/smond_ctl start
