3.3 Starting the Sun Cluster Software

Exercise 2: Bring up the Sun Cluster software.

Note -

Run the Sun Cluster software on one node only.

Use the command: 


# scadmin startcluster nodename cluster_name

If you do not specify a cluster name, the default name will be used. After you execute this command, there should be one node (the master node) in the cluster.
