The GNOME 2.0 desktop for the Solaris Operating Environment is the first release supported by Sun Microsystems of this easy-to-use, advanced user environment. The GNOME 2.0 desktop embodies a familiar desktop metaphor that enables you to interact efficiently with the applications and documents you use every day.

  Describes how to use the accessibility features of the desktop.

  Describes how to unpack files and install the desktop.

  This document.

• GNOME 2.0 Desktop for the Solaris Operating Environment System Administration Guide

  Describes system administration requirements and functionality.

  Describes how to use the features and main applications in the desktop. The information in the user guide might be slightly different from information in GNOME Help. The user guide is more up-to-date than the GNOME Help.
