Registering a Datasource

If your module/application depends on a data source, you will need to add the datasource and register it so that when it is deployed to the iPlanet Application Server the identfied datasource is used.

Before you can register the datasource, you must first add it.

To register a datasource:

From the Explorer Runtime tab select the Installed Servers node, iPlanet Application Server 6.0 node, the Data Sources node, then the datasource node of the datasource you wish to register.
Right-click on the Data Source node and click Register.
Select the instance you want to register the datasource to.
