All channels can be monitored by SIMS. This feature can be helpful in diagnosing various problems.

AdminConsole>IMTA>Channels
1. | Bring up the IMTA property book. |
2. | Click on Channels From the Sections list. |
The section displays a list of installed channels and channels that you created (channel creation applies to Sun Internet Mail Server - Enterprise Edition only). Check the status of each channel to determine if it is up (Started) or Stopped. If the channel is Stopped, use the Log Manager to help diagnose the problem (refer to "Event Log Manager" on page 248). |
