The Sun Internet Mail Server 3.5 Client Installation and Configuration Guide describes the planning and installation procedures for the SunTM Internet Mail ServerTM (SIMS) 3.5 software on SolarisTM SPARC, Intel-based x86 clients as well as Microsoft® Windows clients.
The SIMS software provides an enterprise-wide, open-standards-based, scalable, electronic message handling system. It also provides the optional Sun Messaging Connectivity Services (SMCS) software with the capability to integrate your proprietary email systems such as cc:Mail, MS-Mail, and PROFS with SIMS software.
