If you are installing the SMCS software on client machines, see the Sun Messaging Connectivity Services Guide for installation details. This document helps you install the client software on cc:Mail, MS-Mail, and PROFS clients.

If you are installing the optional SIMS 3.5/HA software, refer to the Sun Cluster 2.1 documentation set to ensure that you have installed the necessary software and hardware required by the Sun Cluster.

You can revise the information you have provided during installation by using the SIMS Administration Console. For detailed information on the Administration Console and its capabilities, refer to the Sun Internet Mail Server 3.5 Administrator's Guide.
