Requesting a License Password

The license password is an alphanumeric code that you must get from the license distribution center. Enter this password into your license page.

	1.	Gather the following information prior to contacting the license center: Product name, Version number, Serial number (from license card supplied with the product).
	2.	Specify the following information for each license server: Server hostname, Server's hostid, Number of units, Number of cc:Mail, MS-Mail, or PROFS channels.
	3.	Specify your contact information: Your name, Phone number, Company name and address.
	4.	Indicate your preferred method to receive your password information: E-mail address (fill out the form sent to you, and return it via e-mail as well), and Fax number.

When you turn in your form to the License Distribution Center, you will receive licenses that you can use with the SIMS 3.5 software.

Caution - If your license file was saved on a PC and then moved to a Solaris system, you have to make sure that no extra line feed character (^M) exists at the end of each line.
