Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform 1.1 Administration Guide

Preface

This guide explains how to administer Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform1.1 using the Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform Administration Console (the Admin Console).

The Admin Console has two versions:

A version that is installed on the Gateway tier of a Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform installation. The Gateway tier is the only tier of a single-tier (enterprise managed) Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform installation, and is the first tier of a two-tier (mobile provider managed) Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform installation.
A version that is installed on the Enterprise tier, the second tier of a two-tier (mobile provider managed) installation.

This guide is intended for Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform system administrators.

Before reading this guide, you should be familiar with the architecture of Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform as described in Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform 1.1 Architectural Overview. You should also have installed Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform as described in Sun GlassFish Mobility Platform 1.1 Installation Guide.
