D.1 Unsupported Command-Line Options

Oracle JRockit Virtual Edition does not support the following JRockit R28 command-line options for which the values are specified as percentage:

• -XXcompaction:percentage

• -XXcompaction:internalPercentage

• -XXcompaction:externalPercentage

• -XXcompaction:initialPercentage

• -XX:GCTimePercentage

Workaround

Instead of using the new command-line options for compaction, use the respective deprecated options. For example, use -XXcompactRatio instead of -XXcompaction:percentage.

Instead of using -XX:GCTimePercentage, use -XX:GCTimeRatio.

When you use a deprecated option, a warning message will be displayed but it can be safely ignored.
