Element Comments

Use comments to provide additional information or instructions to the Studio user about a specific field, graphic, trigger, section, or paragraph element that you have inserted into a Documaker document.

Comments will appear in the Task Comments fields of the respective resources in Studio.

For example, if you inserted a trigger element, and want the Studio user to confirm it is the correct one, you can enter a comment for the trigger asking the Studio user to verify it. Based on these comments, the Studio user will make final changes, such as mapping your placeholders to data sources, or adding your Documaker document to the appropriate form or form list.

In addition to comments, you can also enter descriptions in some types of elements.

Note   Editing a comment in a field will update the comments in all other fields having the same name in the same document.
