Configuring the Word Add-In

Before using the Add-In, you need to configure it. This involves entering default values for:

the local resource files
workspace resources, if you will be using Documaker resources from a Studio workspace
default file locations
graphic files
the document type
field highlighting

To configure the Word Add-In

From the Tools group, click Options.

The Options dialog appears.

Complete each of the tabs in the Options dialog.

Important

When setting up the Add-In Options, it is important to know whether you will be using a workspace definition file. This file allows you to use the resources from a Studio workspace. Your system administrator, Studio administrator, or project manager can help you set up a workspace definition file for the Add-In. See Managing Workspace Definition Files.
