Saving a Documaker Document

After updating a Documaker document, it is important to save it to ensure you do not lose your work.

To save a Documaker document

Click the Microsoft Office button , then choose Save.
Save the Documaker document using one of the following formats:

.docx – the standard Word document type (this type is selected by default)
.docm – a Word document with macros

For consistency, give this document the same name as the Documaker Name in the Document Properties > General tab.

Important

Do not save a Documaker document with the .doc, .dotx, or .dotm format because the Word Add-In does not support them.
