Submitting Documaker Documents to Studio

After you have completed your Documaker documents, validated them, and resolved any validation errors, you can send them to a Studio user who will convert them into Documaker resources. The Studio user uses these resources to create complete Studio documents.

To submit a Documaker document to a Studio user

Provide the Studio user with the final, validated Word .docx file. Typically, you will place this file on a network location, such as a shared network folder or drive. If you are not sure where to place this file, contact the Studio user or your system administrator.

Studio users can refer to the Documaker Studio User’s Guide for detailed instructions on converting documents created using the Word Add-In.

Important

The versions of Studio and the Word Add-In must match, otherwise your documents may not import correctly into Studio.
